One-bedroom rent still above national benchmark in Brampton despite Canada-wide average drop of 1.2%

Despite a nationwide average rent drop of 1.2%, one-bedroom rents in Brampton remain significantly higher than the national benchmark. In October, Brampton's average one-bedroom rental was $2,075, nearly $200 above the Canada-wide average of $1,886. Two-bedroom rentals also exceeded the national average by $100, with Brampton's average at $2,338. Major markets like Toronto and Vancouver experienced substantial annual rent declines, with Toronto's rents down over 9% year-over-year.
